FAQ

How many millilitres are in a cup?

This tool uses 1 cup = 236.5882 ml (US legal cup relationship used in the fixtures).

Are US and metric cups the same?

No. A US cup is about 237 ml. Some metric recipes use 250 ml. Match the system your recipe uses.

Can I convert weight to volume?

Only when the units are compatible. Grams of flour to cups need a density; prefer weighing when accuracy matters.
